Prayer request updates

Install the app and turn on notifications

You can receive private, content-free updates on your device, or choose email when you submit a prayer request. Notifications never contain the prayer itself or its private tracking link.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the prayer hub in Safari.
  2. Tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen and tap Add.
  3. Open Marisule Prayer Hub from the new Home Screen icon.
  4. For guest-request updates, open that private link.
  5. For prayer-wall invitations, sign in and open Account settings.
  6. Under notifications, tap Turn on and then Allow.

If Notifications is missing or blocked

Android and Chrome

  1. Open Phone Settings → Apps → Chrome → Notifications. Turn on notifications and the Sites category.
  2. In Chrome, open Settings → Site settings → Notifications.
  3. If the Prayer Hub Site settings page shows only Sound, choose Delete data and reset permissions. Return to the hub, sign in, and tap Turn on again.

Installed iPhone app

  1. Open iPhone Settings → Apps → Marisule Prayer Hub → Notifications.
  2. Turn on Allow Notifications.
  3. Return to the installed app and use the device test.

Computer

  1. Use the lock or site-information control beside the web address.
  2. Allow Notifications for this site.
  3. Also allow Chrome or Edge in the computer's notification settings.

Resetting site data signs you out and clears preferences stored only on that device. It does not delete your Prayer Hub account or online prayer requests. A website cannot open or change the phone's protected notification setting for you.

Android phone or tablet

  1. Open the prayer hub in Chrome.
  2. Use the Install app button above. If it is unavailable, open Chrome’s menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Open the installed prayer hub.
  4. For guest-request updates, open that private link.
  5. For prayer-wall invitations, sign in and open Account settings.
  6. Under notifications, tap Turn on and then Allow.

Computer

  1. Open the prayer hub in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Choose Install from the address bar or the browser menu.
  3. Open a guest request link, or sign in and open Account settings.
  4. Under notifications, choose Turn on and allow notifications.

Prefer email?

When submitting a request, select “Email me updates and help me recover my private link” and enter your address. Confirm the first email so “My prayer requests” can email you a private request list if you need it. You can stop update emails from any message.

Emails say only that the request was received, prayed for, or updated. They never include the prayer or private link.
